Cogeneration plays an increasingly important role in the Czech energy sector. This week, we discussed its further development, ways of integration into modern energy systems, and its connection to decarbonization goals at the Dny kogenerace conference organized by the professional association COGEN Czech.

The entire event, where GENTEC CHP served as the general partner this year, was opened by our CEO Václav Klein, who emphasized cogeneration as one of the most effective paths toward energy transformation and decarbonization of district heating.

Business Development Manager Jiří Novák followed with a presentation on new directions in the use of cogeneration units for stabilizing the transmission system. He introduced market trends in flexibility and transparent aggregation of resources provided by our sister company aggregaat.

We are pleased to have been the general partner of an event that brings together energy experts and demonstrates that cogeneration is a key technology for a stable and modern Czech energy system, and that, in the words of our CEO, its best years are still ahead.
