At GENTEC CHP, we are implementing key projects with financial support from the European Union that push the boundaries of innovation in cogeneration, hydrogen technologies, and digitalization.
Center for Industrial Research, Development and Innovation at GENTEC CHP (CZ.01.1.02/0.0/0.0/21_375/0027079) – The aim of the project is to acquire a VIK system that addresses two of the three strategic goals of GENTEC CHP. These include solutions for cogeneration units with (co-)combustion of (green) hydrogen and aggregated control of multiple energy sources via artificial intelligence, enabling higher utilization of renewable energy sources (RES).
Development of an innovative cogeneration unit for combustion of gases with hydrogen admixture (CZ.01.1.02/0.0/0.0/21_374/0026387) – The goal of the project is to be prepared for a situation where legislation allows blending green hydrogen into the gas grid, and to offer customers cogeneration units capable of operating with these hydrogen shares while maintaining safe operation for both equipment and personnel. In the follow-up scenario, a combination of a biogas plant, a photovoltaic power plant, and an electrolyzer is expected, forming a self-sufficient energy model (biogas + green hydrogen). The project is carried out in cooperation with VSB – Technical University of Ostrava.
DCZ.31.2.0/0.0/0.0/22_014/0004617 – The aim of this project is the digitalization of key company processes to increase their efficiency. This will enable the company to expand more easily into foreign markets, where competitors are already highly digitalized, while also supporting internal growth and increasing added value.
