The web information portal Seznam Zpr\u00e1vy published an article today How to save on energy bills? <\/a><\/strong>in which he quotes our colleague from GENTEC responsible for Business Development in the Czech Republic. <\/p>\n\n

For example, the article states the following :<\/p>\n\n

“For a new development project with some 150 to 200 apartments, a CHP unit with an output of 50 to 75 kilowatts can be designed. In combination with a gas boiler room and photovoltaics on the roof, this can make sense energetically,” said Ji\u0159\u00ed Nov\u00e1k from Gentec CHP, one of the leading Czech producers of this technology. <\/em><\/p>\n\n

Experts recommend similar units especially for companies or hospitals or hotels that consume energy steadily. “Of course, you always have to consider the price\/performance ratio. The cost of a CHP unit is about half of the total cost of production. If the source is well operated, the payback should be within eight years,” Nov\u00e1k added. <\/em><\/p>\n\n

According to experts, the system of electricity and heat distribution will change significantly in the near future and there will be more small energy sources. For example, breweries or hospitals will produce electricity or heat. The availability of consumption will be monitored by so-called flexibility aggregators. “They will pool power from the operators of individual sources and manage their deployment efficiently. There are already two certified ones on the Czech market, namely innogy and E.ON,” said Pavel \u0160olc, a member of the \u010cEPS board of directors. <\/em><\/p>\n\n

It is important to add that Jirka Nov\u00e1k stated in the same statement that new projects (development or otherwise) should primarily connect to the CZT where possible. Wherever CHP units can be used, you can find for example here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n
